One course, and it is worth being precise about scale rather than calling it more than it is. South Seas Island Resort occupies the northern two miles of the island, a roughly 330-acre resort development, and it has a nine-hole course as part of its amenities.
That is the whole answer. Captiva is a small, quiet, largely undeveloped island by design, and it was never going to have several golf club communities the way the Corkscrew Road corridor or North Naples does. If golf is the main thing you are buying, Captiva is not the market to start in.
