Bonita Bay, at 26660 Country Club Drive, is the largest presence: the Bonita Bay Club's Sports Center alone carries 16 Har-Tru tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts and a croquet lawn, on the bay.
Shadow Wood Country Club, at 22801 Oakwilde Boulevard, is the biggest golf footprint of the group: three 18-hole championship courses, the North, the South and the Preserve, 54 holes in total. It serves both Bonita Springs and Estero, and golf membership carries a multi-year waitlist, so a buyer cannot assume golf comes with the house. Members reach a private beach club on Little Hickory Island through The Commons Club, by car rather than by boat.
Pelican Landing is gated and built on the bay, with golf as part of its club. Within it sits The Colony at Pelican Landing, at 23505 Tuscany Way, a named golf and bay club inside the larger community rather than a separate one.
Saltleaf on Estero Bay, at 5000 Coconut Rd, is the one worth reading carefully: the name carries "Estero Bay," and the community is in Bonita Springs. Saltleaf is the larger community, with a marina, a golf preserve, dining and trails; The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay at Saltleaf are the residential towers within it, not a separate golf club and not "the Ritz" on its own.
