What Is Verdana Village?
A gated community at 18405 Parksville Drive on the Corkscrew Road corridor in Estero, developed by Cameratta Companies with Lennar and Pulte Homes and announced in 2021 at around 2,400 homes.
It sits among roughly 1,200 acres of preserve, with 31 lakes through the community. It is one of the larger of the newer Estero communities and one of the more distinctive, for a reason that has nothing to do with its size.

What Makes Verdana Village Different?
The courts are indoors and air-conditioned. That sounds like a detail and it is not.
Verdana Village's sports complex carries indoor, air-conditioned courts for pickleball, tennis and basketball. In Southwest Florida that changes what a community actually offers between roughly May and September, when outdoor courts stop being usable for much of the day and outdoor amenity in general goes quiet.
Almost every community here competes on the same list: pool, courts, clubhouse, fitness. The list is close to identical from one to the next, and this is one of the few genuine differences between them. If you are here year-round rather than seasonally, it is worth more than it looks on a brochure.
What Are the Rest of the Amenities?
The clubhouse carries a fitness centre, a movement studio, a restaurant and cafe, and a resort-style pool and spa.
Outdoors there are tennis and pickleball courts, bocce, a playground and a dog park, so the outdoor provision is full rather than token. The indoor courts are an addition to it rather than a replacement for it.
A restaurant and cafe on site is worth noting, because it is not universal on this corridor. Corkscrew Shores has the Captain's Club and this has its own, and both change how much a community is used day to day compared with one where the clubhouse is a room you book.
Does Verdana Village Have Golf, or Gulf Access?
Neither, and both answers are worth being direct about.
There is no golf course at Verdana Village. The Estero communities with courses are Pelican Sound, Grandezza and West Bay Club.
And the 31 lakes are lakes. There is no boat route from Verdana Village to Estero Bay or the Gulf. Pelican Sound is the only Estero community with genuine Gulf access, and this is the distinction that catches more buyers here than any other, because a lake photographs exactly like water that goes somewhere.
How Does It Compare With the Rest of Estero?
Verdana Village belongs to the newer group on the Corkscrew Road corridor, and within that group the indoor courts are its argument.
Corkscrew Shores answers with a 240-acre lake and the Captain's Club. RiverCreek answers with a large amenity complex and lake and preserve views. Corkscrew Estates is a small neighbourhood of estate homesites on much larger lots and a different proposition entirely. Kingston is at the very start of a far larger build.

How I Would Approach It With You
On this corridor the communities read alike on paper and differ in ways you can only feel by standing in them, so I would rather walk two or three with you than send a list.
The specific things I would want established here are the association dues against the communities you are comparing it with, whether a community development district assessment applies to the lot you are looking at, and the rental rules if letting the property is any part of your thinking.
