What Kind of Water Is It?
Lakes, and this one is worth being blunt about: Grey Oaks is inland and has no Gulf access.
Central Naples near Airport-Pulling Road is not the coast, and no amount of water inside the gates changes what that water connects to, which is nothing. If a boat is part of the plan, the Naples communities that answer it are Port Royal, Aqualane Shores and Royal Harbor, all on deep-water canals with no fixed bridges in the way.

How Does It Compare With the Rest of Naples?
Among the club communities it competes on sheer scale of golf. Fifty-four holes across three courses is more than any other Naples club community carries, and for a member who plays often that is a genuinely different experience from a single course in rotation.
Imperial Golf Estates in North Naples is the closer comparison on structure, with two courses and optional membership. Pelican Bay has a club inside it too, but it is a beach community first and its golf is a separate membership again.
