What Is Quail West?
A gated golf and country club community in Naples, built around 36 holes across two Arthur Hills courses, The Lakes and The Preserve, both since renovated under Drew Rogers.
The clubhouse runs to roughly 100,000 square feet, which is a different order of thing from a clubhouse with a grill room and a pro shop, and it is a large part of what you are funding here.

Can You Actually Get a Golf Membership?
This is the question at Quail West, and it has a specific answer rather than a vague one.
Golf membership is capped at 525 members. A cap is not a waiting list in the ordinary sense: it is a hard ceiling, so availability depends on somebody leaving rather than on the club deciding to admit more.
The practical consequence is that buying the house and getting the golf are two separate events, and they may not happen in the same year. If golf is the reason you are looking here, establish in writing where the membership roll actually stands before you commit to an address, not after.

What Are the Two Courses?
The Lakes and The Preserve, both designed by Arthur Hills, both renovated in work led by Drew Rogers.
Two courses matters more than the hole count suggests. It means the club can close one for work and stay open, and it means a member is not playing the same eighteen every week. Against a single-course club that is a genuine difference in what a season feels like.
It is a smaller footprint than Grey Oaks, which runs 54 holes across three courses, and larger than the one-course clubs. Where you land on that is a matter of how often you actually play.
What Kind of Water Is It?
Lakes. Quail West is inland and has no Gulf access, so there is no dockage and no route to open water.
