A gated community in North Naples, just north of Immokalee Road between US-41 and Livingston Road, established in the 1970s across 300 to 400 acres of wooded terrain, spring-fed lakes and preserve.
It holds around 633 properties: single-family homes, villas and condominiums, behind a main gate staffed 24 hours a day.

Do You Have to Join the Golf Club?
No. Golf membership is optional for residents here, and that is the most useful thing to know about this community.
The Imperial Golf Club sits within it, with social, full-equity and non-member tiers, so owning a home here does not mean joining and does not mean paying for golf you do not play.
That is a real distinction in this market. Plenty of Naples communities bundle a membership to the property, which suits somebody who plays constantly and is dead weight for somebody who does not. If you want the gate and the setting without the golf, this is a shorter list than people expect, and this community is on it.
What Is the Golf Actually Like?
Two 18-hole par-72 courses, originally designed by Arthur Hills and Ward Northrup.
Both are walkable, which is worth saying because it is increasingly uncommon and it matters a great deal to the people it matters to. A course routed for carts and a course you can walk are different products, whatever the scorecard says.
Beyond the golf: a clubhouse, pool and spa, tennis, and jogging and biking paths through the preserve.
What Kind of Water and Setting Is It?
Spring-fed lakes and preserve, on wooded terrain. North Naples inland, so there is no Gulf access and no dockage.
The wooded, established character is genuinely different from the newer communities further east, which were cleared and built in one go. Land settled in the 1970s under mature tree cover does not look like land built out last year, and for a lot of buyers that is the reason to be here.

How Does It Compare, and How I Would Approach It
Against Grey Oaks in central Naples, this is the smaller and older club with two courses rather than three, and optional membership rather than a club at the centre of the proposition. Against the bundled-golf communities in Naples golf communities, the difference is that here you can decline.
What I would establish with you: which membership tier fits how you actually play and what each costs to join and to hold, what the association covers separately from the club, the condition and age of the specific property given the community's 1970s origins, and whether the address is single-family, villa or condominium, since the documents differ.
